We are looking for candidates who are keen, motivated and are able to work as part of a team. An understanding of working with pupils with SEND would be useful, but not essential.
You will support the teacher in creating opportunities for the children to learn in their own individual ways. You will need to be creative, flexible, patient, and perceptive, as you will need to write down observations for the teacher. However, as well as supporting the teaching, you will be trained by nurses, therapists and senior staff to carry out many other day to day and medical procedures.
The Right Candidate Will Have
Working hours will be 8.40am to 3.40pm, 3 days a week, Term time only. Exact working days to be discussed at interview.
The starting salary for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, based on 3 days a week (actual) is £9,671.91 per annum, paid equally across 12 months.
The official closing date for this role is 21st June, however applicants may be shortlisted and invited in for interview earlier than this to enable starting before the Summer Holidays. We advise interested parties to submit their application as soon as possible. Any applications considered on the closing date will likely result in a start date of September.
